LifescienceTalent was born from years of working with small start-ups, medium-sized and large biotech companies—and experiencing the frustration with outdated hiring systems. Word-based resumes were rarely read, applications were time-consuming with little to no feedback, interview processes dragged on for weeks, and executive searches became unnecessarily costly. Traditional keyword matching often failed to recognize true capability, expertise, and ambition.

We built LifescienceTalent to fix this. Our platform combines next-generation technology expertise and cutting-edge AI competence with deep domain knowledge of the life science industry. This unique blend enables us to look beyond keywords and CV formats—identifying real potential, connecting the right talent to the right opportunities, and helping companies accelerate innovation.

The Founders

Erik Skullerud

Founder & Managing Partner

Erik is the life science mind behind LifescienceTalent.ai. In more than 30 years in biotech and pharma he has seen the industry from every angle: international commercial leadership in large pharma, CEO of a publicly listed oncology company, founder of advisory firms, board member and mentor to life science start-ups. Today he advises biotech CEOs, boards and investors, and knows from experience how hard it is to find the right people.

Peter Stampfli

Founder & Managing Partner

Peter is the technology mind behind LifescienceTalent.ai. An engineer by training, he brings many years of hands-on experience as a software developer and software architect, much of it in financial services. He has led software engineering organisations, headed IT architecture and innovation, and founded and scaled a technology consultancy of his own. Today he focuses on AI and agentic software development, turning AI from a promise into software that works in production.

Peter and Erik have known each other for many years. Technology and AI engineering on one side, deep life science experience on the other: their skills complement each other, and that combination is what LifescienceTalent.ai is built on.
